This policy explains what information ChinaData.live handles when you browse the site, use the public API, submit a request, communicate by email, or purchase a custom delivery.

Information We Handle

Information you provide

Request forms may collect your name, email address, organization, selected services, budget range, requested data scope, message, and page or campaign context. Email and commercial records may also contain quote, invoice, delivery, support, payment-status, and correspondence details.

Site and analytics information

The site uses Google Analytics when a measurement ID is configured. It may process page views, referral and campaign information, device or browser information, approximate location, interactions, and a browser identifier. The current configuration requests IP anonymization and disables Google Signals and advertising personalization; Google processes analytics information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Request-page attribution may temporarily use browser session storage for landing pages, referral and campaign parameters, recent calls to action, and time-to-click. When you submit a request, relevant attribution details and the Google Analytics client identifier, when available, may be included with the inquiry.

API and security information

Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request headers, URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. When anonymous API rate limiting is enabled, the service uses a salted HMAC hash derived from the client IP and stores the hash, UTC day bucket, request scope, count, and update time in Cloudflare D1. The rate-limit table does not store the raw IP address.

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and API.
• Measure aggregate usage and understand how visitors find and use pages.
• Respond to inquiries, confirm scope, prepare quotes, and deliver or support custom work.
• Send request confirmations and service communications.
• Process payments, maintain records, prevent abuse, and resolve disputes.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect users and infrastructure.

Service Providers and Disclosures

Information may be processed by:

• Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, security, D1 storage, and request logs.
• Google Analytics for site measurement when configured.
• Resend for inquiry confirmations, notifications, and replies when configured.
• Telegram for operator notifications when configured.
• Payment, invoicing, accounting, or file-delivery providers used for a confirmed order.

These providers may process information in countries where they or their subprocessors operate. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce agreements, investigate abuse or security incidents, or protect rights and safety.

Payments

If a third-party payment processor is used, card or bank details are handled by that provider under its own terms. ChinaData.live does not intentionally receive or store full payment-card numbers. We may retain billing contact details, invoice data, transaction identifiers, amounts, and payment status for delivery, accounting, support, fraud prevention, and disputes.

Retention

Inquiry, quote, delivery, payment, support, and related communication records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including business records, auditability, re-delivery, security, accounting, and disputes. Rate-limit counters are organized by daily bucket; operational logs and provider records follow applicable system or provider settings.

Your Choices and Requests

You can limit analytics through browser controls, content blockers, or Google-provided opt-out tools. You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information associated with an inquiry, subject to legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs. Privacy rights vary by location.

Children

The service is intended for general research and professional use and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child through the request forms.
