# China Trade CSV Sample Pack

This public sample shows the delivery structure used for a cleaned China trade data file. It is intentionally small and does not include Excel.

Files in this pack:

- `sample-trade-deliverable.csv` is a cleaned CSV extract.
- `sample-data-dictionary.csv` defines every field and QA rule.
- `sample-coverage-report.csv` records confirmed period coverage and latest month.
- `sample-qa-report.json` records source context checks file checksums and QA outcomes.

The sample rows use official monthly China total trade values from the General Administration of Customs of China. They demonstrate the CSV and QA package format. A paid HS6 or HS8 extract is scoped separately by HS code flow partner coverage period fields and source availability before quote.

Key QA rules:

- Units and field meanings must match the data dictionary.
- Latest month is recorded in the coverage report and QA report.
- Trade value fields must be numeric and non-negative.
- Blank quantity fields are allowed only when quantity is outside confirmed scope.
- Missing coverage is reported in the coverage report rather than hidden in the data file.
- Delivery keys are checked for duplicates across period flow HS code and partner.
- Source name source URL source period retrieval date and checksums are retained for audit.
